I recently found out about
It’s a wesbite for all those who are interested in Antigua/Barbuda and its history & it was created for and by the Antiguan/Barbudan community.
“The photographs, documents, papers, video, and sound files that make up the collection come from the community—they have been donated by Antiguans and Barbudans, some long gone, who saw the importance of preserving the history of both islands. Second, anyone in the community (or beyond), no matter where they are in the world, can access the archive for free. And third, anyone in the community can contribute to the archive by uploading their own files and sharing them with others.”
Doesn’t that sound great? I particularly like this because although I like to answer nationality questions vaguely, by saying that I’m “Caribbean”, on this blog (because I generally don’t want persons to have leverage for any sort of biased post claims). I’ll reveal the fact that I’m first generation Antiguan, in this post.
